Lazy Kates is our affectionately named local spinning guild that meets at the shop on the 3rd Saturday of the month. This is a time of general fiber comradery, where we all speak the same language of “Fibers.” Everyone is welcome, the only requirement is an interest in the Fiber Arts. Bring your wheel, spindle, needles or what ever project you are working on. Bring your lunch or it will be available at the Ranch’s Café.

| Lazy Kates July Dye Day Challenge |

Come on down and celebrate colors galore as we repeat our Pre-Roc Day Dye challenge. We will be dyeing protein fibers,( wool, silk, mohair, etc.), The rules are, you bring the fiber or buy it here, we set up the dye station. The fee will be reasonable to cover costs for the dyes.
Please call ahead to make a reservation and let us know so we can have enough dyes made up. Remember you will need to commit to Roc Day.

Roc Day is the traditional day women went back to their spinning chores after the twelve days of Christmas- or Jan. 7th. We're celebrating the holiday this year on the following Saturday.
Come join us as we celebrate all things fiber. Bring your wheels or spindles, needles or projects. We'll have some fun games and challenges. For those who participated in July's Dye Day, we'll have our traditional show and tell.
